A purpose watermark is most useful when it names the recipient and transaction. “For KYC purposes only” is better than an unmarked copy, but “For VI new connection KYC only” is more restrictive.
A simple workflow
- Open the local editor and add the PDF.
- Enter the exact sharing purpose.
- Keep the repeated diagonal watermark on.
- Add an expiry date if the copy should only be valid for a limited period.
- Inspect every page and download the finished PDF.
When to use different text per page
Use a page-specific watermark if attachments have a different recipient or purpose. Use a no-watermark area only when the watermark genuinely blocks a photograph, QR code, or field the recipient must inspect.
Privacy note: the editor runs locally after its static files load. It does not send the PDF, watermark text, signature, or stamp to a server.
